The Find Fast, in my opinion, is evil. It is the first thing I delete when I do an install of Office (second is the talking paperclip). Find Fast catalogs your disks when your machine is idle, but is also know to cause all sorts of performance problems. To get rid of it in Win95, you can delete the shortcut to it and the Office startup toolbar in your Startup folder. I assume (?) its the same in NT.
