I apologise Jim. I thought the original message was for all to see. Here's the body;
I have written a COM-DLL in VFP which interacts and performs very well with some other COM objects written in VC++ and VB. There is a requirement for this object (written in VFP) to spool particular reports to the printer with the use of 'REPORT FORM ...'. I am aware that we cannot have a UI with a VFP COM object if its in-process, but it is supported as an out of process server, an EXE. I am not using the 'PROMPT' modifier in the 'REPORT FORM' call so I assume I am not making a call to this command to exhibit its UI potential; or am I?
I have debugged the object to this particular line when I get the error. I seem to remember that a 'no of pages spooled' dialog does pop up when VFP prints. Is this causing the problem? If so, can we suppress this dialog?
I would be grateful for any comment, or light shed on the subject.
TIA
