Thanx, I was using the base class instead of the immediate parent class. The base class had no code and as such looked as though it was not working. Why did they add the DODEFAULT() to VFP 5.0 if it was this easy. I must admit that I skipped 3.0 and am only dealing with this to be able to generate non 32 bit stuff.
