Rick Strahl has free and more simple sample code that come with a presentation he made at Devcon (
http://www.west-wind.com/presentations/foxisapi/foxisapi.htm). This source is easy to follow and to the point. This sample and the sample from Microsoft will get you started. When you need heavy duty classes, you can purchase Rick's commercial libraries.
