Hi Steve ---

Erik Moore posted a really good View Designer replacement file here that is a lot more flexible than the native one.

>I am trying to work around limitations in the view designer. Current problem is I need a condition in the WHERE clause like (EMPTY(solddate) OR solddate>?vp_solddate). This condition is ANDed with other conditons. I was not able to make the designer add such a condition, so I used gendbcx to create almost the right thing. I modified the code to put in the proper condition. Problem now is that when I attempt to requery the view after changing the value of the view parameter, I get the message 'View definition has changed.' Is there a way to get the view designer to use such a construct or to eliminate the requery problem? Thanks.
