Hello VFUG members,

If you read my last article in the VFUG newsletter, you may have noticed that I inferred some internal changes were on the horizon for the Virtual FoxPro User Group.

I am pleased to announce that VFUG now has it's own domain name (thanks to the financial contributions of Arnon Gal-Oz). You can now access the main VFUG page from http://www.vfug.org.

One of the main reasons for this change is to give VFUG the recognition it deserves as an actual entity, rather than just <s> another FoxPro web page.

Also, if you have not noticed, VFUG is growing fast. We currently have almost 2800 members representing 88 countries worldwide. We have added a search engine to enable faster location of FAQ’s, tips, articles, lectures, and etc. Our Vendor and Affiliation programs are also in full swing: look for additions soon!

We have several other things brewing as well. We are currently developing e-mail formats for our newsletters and related VFUG information, site development, and overall expansion of existing resources.

If you are one of the 6358 UT members who is not a VFUG member, remember membership is free (say that sentence fast! (s)), fast and has added bonuses to the FoxPro support you receive here at the UT. And, tell your friends! The more VFUG members we have, the better our service to you will be (added information, networking, vendor discounts, etc.).
