That sounds like a good idea. I've heard other people suggest setting up the web server at your ISP but having the server in my home would be much more convenient. It doesn't sound like the costs are prohibitive - I can handle the up-front costs of $300 - $500 as long as the monthly fee for the hosting isn't too much. Would this enable me to get a permanent IP address or would I most likely be assigned some obscure number that keeps changing?
