I used NetLib with FP2.5 DOS and found it to be a very good tool. You mentioned earlier that you couldn't get WGetNetUser to work. Did you try the sample code Ed Rauh gave you? I tried it this morning and it works great. Try the code with a different drive letter as maybe Z: is not a mappable drive at your client. HTH
