>I don't know, Mark. To be honest, the more I work on VFP and the more I learn OOP, I *still* think I prefer the old way of doing things. Maybe I'll come around to everyone else's way of thinking eventually, but I think it will take a while. I have to understand OOP inside and out and have an instinct for it before I'll finally feel comfortable with it.

Hi Bonnie, remember me from the old FP forums on Prodigy?

Anyways, when the light does go on in your head, and it will soon, you'll wonder how you EVER got anything accomplished the old way. OOP thinking is just different, that's all. The hardest part is to learn how to stop fighting it, because you just want to do it the "old" way. Don't forget the old tips/tricks/traps, because sometimes they still come in handy! Just think of it as adding powerful new weapons to your FP arsenal!
