Thanks John, I *was* taking baby steps for awhile, but then got a major project dumped on me ... that's the main reason for the frustration, because I'm under the gun to get it done while learning ... not quite what I would consider optimal conditions.

Start simple: Create a Textbox class and use it as the basis for all your textboxes on a form. Change the class to a specific font, color, et al and see what it does when you run your form. Experiment!
