AFAIK, "FoxPro DBASE IV" is an oxymoron. Well, maybe not exactly, but close.

IOW, FOXPRO <> DBASE IV. So, which format do you need to support?

If you need to communicate with databases, then perhaps the FoxPro ODBC driver will give you what you need.

Yes, a CDX file contains FoxPro index tags. An IDX file would be separate index expressions.
