>For the good of anyone planning on buying a new, top-of-the-line machine, I will answer my own question.Several Video cards with High Resolution 3D graphics do not work with VFP, among these are the Diamond Stealth and Diamond Vipers. You have to use a standard SVGA Driver - Regards,

I had significant problems with the Viper V550 which are definitely related to drivers; we've had a number of people report that using the latest reference drivers for the RivaTNT chipset from nVidia took care of most if not all of the trouble we encountered with the Diamond driver. The same applies to a couple of other cards that use the RivaTNT chipset - notably the STB Velocity 4000. The Asus 3400 has a very solid driver set apparently (it's another card using the nVidia chipset) and we've had no complaints from the field on the current version of the card.
