You can always lookup these properties and methods in
the VBA help of Excel.

One trick I find usefull is to start recording a
macro in excel, then do the changes I want (like setting the
x and y axis names) and stop recording.

By looking at the code generated for the macro in the 'module'
section of the workbook you can see what properties of the graphic
were affected and how.
