>We've got a form with ShowWindow set to 'In Top-Level Form'. The form has a date field. VFP will not allow the user to exit the field if an invalid date is entered. Unfortunately, the 'Invalid Date' message does not appear. (SET NOTIFY = ON.) If we change the ShowWindow property to 'Top-Level Form', the 'Invalid Date' message will appear. Setting ShowWindow = "Top Level Form" creates other problems for us.

Is the format property of the text box set to D, to enforce date entry?
