Thanks, for the comments. I'm using Windows 98. Downgrading the driver solved my problems there, but now I'm getting another problem. VFP6 will not quit from the Command Window. I try

CLEA ALL
CLOSE ALL
QUIT

The program refuses to QUIT. Also EXIT from the File Menu won't work, nor the Windows Close Box. Everything else seems to work MODI PROJ, DO, DEBUG, etc. MS says they have problems with fast machines?!
