Actually COM is another way of saying Remote Automation. The remote part means a remote process, not necessarily a remote machine. DCOM is COM, but on another machine.

> You run the .EXE DCOM on the server, then register it with Racmgr32.exe. More information is in the VFP 6.0 docs under Remote Automation Connection Manager. Once it's registered on the server, you have to register it on the client using CLIREG32
