Strange behavior with custom toolbar class

Greetings,

We have created a custom toolbar object that is used for all of our forms. There is a rather strange behavior that has just started to pop up. When a form is open.. and not modal, all the buttons behave as normal. When a form is open, and calles a modal form, all the buttons behave as normal except one. The misbehaving button does not get locked or disabled.. ie, you can click on it just fine, however, the onclick event for that button no longer fires.

To add to the mystery...

We created a copy of the misbehaving button on the toolbar so now we have two buttons that do the exact same thing. When a form calls a modal form, the first button misbehaves, but the second button works just fine. If we deleat the misbehaving button and leave the second button (that was just working fine), the new button misbehaved the exact same way as before.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

if possible, please respond to my regular e-mail address as well as to this list.
