I was going to point you to Stonefield, but I see Craig already has.
As additional info, once at the website, look under "Technical Papers" for
Error Handling in VFP. The heirarchical error handling method is a little complex and has a moderate learning curve, but it is extremely flexible and adaptable to just about any situation (imho).
