I know that menu are not the same in VFP6 and VFP5 but didn't know that there was a difference in class. What can i do to open class in VFP5. If I use VFP5 and create a table with the same structure that the vcx in VFP6 and i happen record will this trick work?

From the command window execute
COMPILE CLASS classname
This will make it compatible with VFP5, as long as the class does not use VFP6 specific features.
