Well, if have the ControlSources the same, then I'll have to manually set the Clinic_People.PeopleID when the user chooses a name from the combo. That's why the two are different, so I wouldn't have to do that. But, I suppose, that may be a solution to my problem. I guess I could try it and see what happens.

When you use controls other than the default TextBox class in a grid column set the Sparse = .F. for the column. It slows the performance a little but it allows the control to be painted on each row of the grid.
No, I don't want a combo showing on each row, only on the row that the user is currently on.
