Can anybody make a recommendation on the best (working <g>) query builder to use when opening a report within MM?

I've tried using the forms per the manual, but the users want more flexibility than is available using this method.

They also want full ad-hoc capabilities. Would FoxFire! be a good choice in this context for the ad-hoc and something else for the pre-report query?
