In VFP 3.0 the next code line run without problem COPY TO ARRAY ArrData FIELD Fld1,Fld2,Fld3 WHILE Fld4 = x The "ArrData" is not defined so the COPY TO ARRAY command define it with column and row needed for the matching records. The command find 4 records so I have 4 rows an three column. In VFP 5.0 ,the command dimension and fill the array with right size and data but an error message appear : NOT ENOUGH MEMORY FOR END THE PROCESS I checked the memory , and I have for a lot for sale. The problem also appear if the line is issued from the command window. So I try the next line in the command window always without define the destination Array: COPY TO ARRAY ArrData next 100 The line run with no problem and now I have "ArrData" with 100 rows and 25 columns (25 fields in records). Wath's appened ... progress or regress ? Thanks Paolo
