Now that George Tasker (thanks, George!) has given you the detailed explanation of the problem, the reason the printer driver has something to do with it, is because doing a preview, the output is actually formatted by the printer driver. This is supposed to yield you with WYSIWYG, but that's not always true.

It just saddens me that Tektronix has succumbed to the dreaded HP Disease of "Driveritis". But I bet you if it's pointed out to them, they'll fix it! In fact, check their web-site, it may already be fixed. (www.tek.com)
