Hi John,

I think that the point here that is being missed is quite simple.

As a VFP developer wanting to learn as much as I can about VFP I have a choice between TechEd, DevCon and FoxTeach (there may be more but we'll limit to these 3). Now, I personally am going to go to FoxTeach because it's in the same city that I work in and my company won't pony up the dough for DevCon.

Now if I wanted to start gaining an understanding of the other tools in VS and what I could do with these combined tools I would consider TechEd. So in that mindset, shouldn't at least a couple of general level VFP sessions be included? Not for VFP developers but for developers using one or more of the other tools so they can start gaining an understanding of the other tools (VFP) in VS and what they can do with these combined tools

Cheers,

>>That 10-30 people may attend a Tech Ed VFP session is true, but it's gotten to >that point because of the lack of inclusion. So it's a "cart before the >horse" sort of thing. Also, here's my argument on this topic on logical >Merits:

>>There are 5-600,000 of us by MS estimate. I think that probably exceeds the number of VInterdev and VJ++ developers and they're certainly well represented at Tech Ed.

>YET NOBODY GOES TO THE SESSIONS. It does not mean crap if there are a half-million of us. If only 30 people attend sessions at TechEd, it means there is no demand. I don't see where the mis-understanding is. It is a matter of economics.
