>When I open a dbase table in VFP 6.0, I am prompted with a messagebox that says "Convert MEMO file to Visual FoxPro format?" Does anyone know a way to avoid being prompted with this messagebox and just doing the conversion? I constantly need to open new dbase tables as part of an interface to another application and I don't want my user getting prompted everytime. There is no way to avoid haveing the table put out in dbase format, so I have to deal with it in my code. Thanks.

Try one of the SET commands... SET NOTIFY, SET TALK, etc.
