In versions of VFP and FPW prior to 6, there's a .FLL that came with the development version called FOXTOOLS.FLL, which had this functionality; George tasker wrote up extended docuemntation on the FOXTOOLS functions which can be downloaded from UT. Under VFP6, the documentation on the newly-included functions is right in the VFP Help file.

You are correct, sir!< g > It was called FPATH.PLB, it had the file functions as well as some bitwise operator functions that, sadly, didn't make it into Foxtools.
