>Basically, it's about Control.Format="R". Use it if you want to remove dashes from data, and do not use it you want to keep them. Normal practice is to remove.
thanks, Ill try that. when reading the help files,I took it as saying to put the "R" in the format so that it would look for the inputmask, with out the "R", then it would bypass the inputmask. Thanks, Ill look into this.
