Hiya Scott ---

Oh, I agree that this debate is pointless but it is fun to try to figure out what the heck is going on. IMHO, the way to help resolve things in the future is:

1) Allow for the fact that VFP is not the end-all, be-all for all projects, but fight like hell to use it where it is suitable.
2) Try Les Pinter's "FoxPro Challenge" (this months VFUG newsletter)
3) Start a scrapbook of every favorable article on VFP you can find and use it to buttress any VFP-oriented proposal.
4) Don't get into any shouting matches with VB or other developers. Just quietly get the job done; let your work and professionalism speak for itself.
