>With conferences like VBITS, why would a VB developer go to TechEd??? Yet, many do. So do office developers, NT System Engineers, SQL Server Folks, etc. TechEd is a very broad event. There were 10 VFP sessions at the TechEd show in 1997 in Orlando. I think MS did thier part there.

>>I agree with what you are stating. It's factual and there is no debating it. However, what I'm saying is that the low attendance in the past isn't VFPers fault but M$'s. With conferences out there like DevCon and FoxTeach, why would a VFPer go to TechEd, unless they or their company could afford all three. VFP sessions at TechEd should be focused on non-VFP developers, now more than ever. Because the past is the past but today and the future (according to M$) is n-tier and distributed development.

Maybe they should put ... money where their mouth is.

Hmmm, this could be said for VFP developers who didn't attend Tech-Ed and the VFP sessions that were offered in the past. Had the attendance been higher in past Tech-Eds there would, I am sure, be VFP sessions in the next Tech-Ed.
