>When installing a VFP5.0 executable on a workstation, WinNT did not need to reboot. However, when installing a VFP5.0 executable, WinNT does need to reboot. Why the difference? Is something different occurring regarding the registry? Or did I accidentally specify different parms to the Setup Wizard?

More than likely that one or more common components (like one of the MSVCRT or MFC or OLE family .DLLs) used by VFP6 needed to be updated; if an older version is already loaded, the system must reboot to complete setup.

> Note: by "installing an executable", I mean: I created an executable using the Project Manager. Then I ran the Setup Wizard to create a distributable disk. Then I ran the Setup.Exe from that distributable disk on the workstation.
