Just IMHO. There was a thread about reports recently, and I said there that VFP reports are powerful enough, you just need to use your imagination. So far, I used VFP report writer everywhere unless there was a client requirement to use something else. I extensively use UDFs and direct references to the form control values in my reports where possible.
You may try to use Bullseye reports or Crystal reports too.
