You could make a backup copy of your current menu, then tinker with it by deleting a current pad then adding the one you want based on the quick menu you created. The other option is to open a copy of MNX (.MNT is the memo file) as a table and looking for the one you want to rename.

>Yeah, that'll work, but what I really want to do is to modify my existing menu in the menu designer, not programmatically, to re-name the pad to _mwindow.

I already have a menu defined, but didn't do it by using "Quick Menu", so even tho I've defined a "Window" pad, it defaults to some other pad name and I have not figured out how to re-name that pad with the _mwindow name. Do you know how to do it?

>>If you create a test menu, select Quick Menu from the MENU option, then select the GENERATE option from MENU as well, you can look at the code generated in the .MPR file to see all the code you need.
