As a reply to myself and others curious to know how, I have founda way, but still requires extra steps.

You must open your message (not the preview pane, but double-click on the message), then, go to the View -> Options menu. The headers are contained there, even though they don't always seem complete.

If anyone finds out how to have them showed by default (à la Netscape and Eudora), please let me know.
