FoxPro saves the information about the environment in FOXUSER.DBF. If you issue
BROWSE, by default it means BROWSE LAST - the way the table was shown the last time (for examle that time font was changed, not all the field might be included in BROWSE command, (I am not sure how did you get those colors changes in your environment though :)
BROWSE NORMAL just brings you the default browse window.
