This is something I haven't tried, so I will now try changing the modal form to a modeless during the hide.

But, can you tell me, or can anyone else, if a form is Hidden, and therefore not Active, does the Modal setting have any effect?

>Sorry to jump in here, but one thing you might try is to change the form being hidden to nonmodal in the hide event and then change it back to modal in the show event. Having more than 1 modal form active at the same time is going to cause you more headaches than there are pills for. I know......from experience...it ain't worth it....
