OK folks,

Burn this one in your grey-matter because it's just as important than the DCOM for Win95 issue.

After days of tracking down various random runtime errors (e.g. Invalid Page Faults, system locks, etc.) from a new VFP6 app installation on a number of machines, I have found the culprit:

Old IntelliPoint mouse drivers

And the symptoms manifest themselves differently on different machines running Win95/98.

I updated the mouse drivers on all the machines and, voila, no problemo.
