Why not leverage the existing websites like VFUG? Instead, devote the time to
a) structuring and working up the contents
b) promote people to visit the site

>I like your idea, but let me play devil's advocate. In the past, I have often found myself in a group where everyone agrees how great it would be if "we" did project X. The results are usually disappointing, when it comes time to work up a sweat, "we" usually turns into one person (me!) Usually that person gets lots of pats on the back, but not much else.

>Nevertheless, I remain the eternal optimist. If you would like to set up a web site promoting VFP, perhaps you can start a thread on Chatter just for this. I figure if 4 people pony up $50 apiece (perhaps we can settle up at DevCon?), then we can buy a domain good for two years. We'll need a domain that is plain enough without violating any M$ copyrights. Then we try to get those dozens (hundreds?) of fox-related web sites to link to us, and vice-versa. A simple mission statement, some original contributions, it *might* get noticed.

>Nice idea, feel like volunteering to be webmaster?
