>>>We just got a copy of the new Hackers Guide, and when I pulled it out of the box my jaw hit the floor. This is one HUGE book!!! Man who needs aerobics when you own this sucker, I could get a full upper body workout just lifting this a few times a day! < bg > I do believe we should call this the official Mother of all VFP Reference Books.

>>>Way-to-go Hentzenwerke... Now that I see how big this book ended up being I see why you opted to print a larger book and loose the CD.

>>Sniffle, sniffle, whine, whine. We have had so many snags here, I am still awaiting the arrival of mine (I actually went with the 6-book offer for PUTMs). I bought the first Hacker's Guide and can't wait until the new one gets here.

>So many people here swear by the Hacker's Guide that I'm convinced. What do people think of the other five books in the 6-book offer? I suppose you are waiting to be able to answer that question. It sounds like a good value, but it is a lot of money if your employer won't reimburse you.
I've been reading the Effective Techniques book by Booth/Sawyer and it really delivers the goods the title suggests. Basically it talks about the best practices as seen by the two authors on real-world cases.
