I saw one of the early chm files for Markus' book. The English looked well. :-) I think that would fall on the editor's shoulders. The two books that I've purchased are the Hacker's Guide and Markus' OOP book. At the Great Lakes Great Database Developer's Workshop, I sat through Markus' Design Patterns session. It completely revolutionized my development approach. I'm an Egger fanatic now.
