Hi Al,
VFP has other methods for accessing the printer. It's been awhile since I've dealt with GENPD, but from what I recall, VFP now gives you most of that app's functionality as part of the language.
Perhaps if you could explain what you're trying to do a bit more specifically, there might be a solution that will meet your needs.
