Hi all.

An associate showed me yesterday a way of running VFP6 exe without have a client install of the VFP6 runtime DLLs. I have just tested this and am shocked it works.

Copy the following files to the same directory that your exe is on, on the server:

vfp6r.dll
vfp6renu.dll
vfp6odbc.dll
ole32.dll
oleaut32.dll

Note: before testing, ensure that you remove these files from the client pc.

This completely blows me away. I have seen many discussions where people have tried this and it hasn't worked.

Could someone test this with VFP3 and VFP5 (to see if it works), then list the equivalent DLLs and I will post this as a FAQ.
