I'm the only VFP person on a team consisting of all PB developers. I came on the program to support some of exsiting FPW and Clipper applications. In the 2.5 years I've been on the program, I've re-written all of the applications in VFP and have started new ones. Conversely, the PB projects are experiencing high turnover rates and extremely long delays completing projects. I think management is very impressed with VFP!

Now, they are talking web enabling applications and we were invited to a demo of SilverStream. It used multi-teired approach like that proposed by MS for the Internet. Since PB cannot create COM objects, they would have to somehow move their business logic into Java objects. Sounded like alot of recoding.

My customer was really impressed when I explained how I could leverage my existing code by ecapsulating it into VFP COM objects.

I don't have any experience with PB, but from what I hear, I'm not impressed.
