If you have an MSDN subscription and a DVD ROM drive, you can now get the MSDN on DVD rather than on 3 CDs. It's quick enough so that you don't need to load the whole thing to the hard drive, and the usual problems of sharing a MSDN install across multiple machines on a CD-ROM server are neatly avoided - I just keep the current one mounted at all times now on one system, rather than typing up about 1300MB on an NT Server volume.
