>>Hi all. I have recently been troubled with an insufficient memory error in Foxpro 2.6. I am running the app on a Novell network. The form that generates the error is a fairly busy data entry form with a list box, several combo boxes, and spinners. It generates the error inconsistly at different times in the data entry process.

>>This form is the only portion of the app that causes the error and it only surfaces on our newer Dell Pentium 133 machines with 32MB RAM. Other older machines have no problems with the app. I have played with the CONFIG.FPW's MEMLIMIT as well as unloading everything from memory in Windows.

U may want to try an experiment. I used to partition memory for Extended and Expanded operations. I had a huge Fortran modeling program that required x MB of RAM exclusively. I think I told FoxPro DOS to run in Expanded mode. or Vice a versa. Well, see if you can run FPW in a limited Expanded world. I think U can still setup expanded memory in the Config.SYS. I have not had a need since moving to Win95. It might be worth a try. If U do try it, post the results. Also, is their any different drivers between the two PCs? I remember SHARE.EXE caused me some problems in the FP DOS world. It's been a very long time since I've seen anything other than VFP. htwh. Steve
