There are lots of candidates for the problem; the HP driver is the first and most obvious suspect, especially if the failure occurs in conjunction with or immediately following some report operation. There may be a driver or software issue, and unfortunately, about the only waty to track it down is to examine in detail the station that isn't locking up and compare that to the ones that do...

Have you tried running under the debugger, or adding some code temporarily to the form that seems to be the problem, to find what statement is executing when the station locks up?
