>>I have to convert a system using foxpro 2.5 (?) on CDOS. Is this compatible with MS-DOS? Can I just bring a laptop down and copy his harddrive or does CDOS use some special disk format that I won't be able to read? Thanks for any help on this old subject.

>DR's Concurrent DOS is semi-compatible with FPDOS 2.5; you'll probably have much more success with Standard Edition than with Extended Edition, since as I recall there were significant differences in the EMS implementation for CDOS.

Don't count on being able to use LapLink or a similar utility, and don't count on having the necessary drivers for your laptop to participate in a CDOS-managed LAN environment.

Do you think if I put his Harddrive in another machine(Windows) that I would be able to copy the .DBF files from it to another Harddrive? Thanks for the help.

Marcus.
