Thanks! You definitely gave me food for thought. I'm not sure which way I'll be going at this point. The situation I'm in is that we have people all over the department in different buildings on a Novell WAN that want access to a tracking application that I wrote when I was expecting it to be a LAN application. Part of my problem was that I wanted to avoid involving the network admins to change the write rights of a bunch of users. That probably would be the simplest approach despite the headaches involved. Thanks for a discussion of all the options, now I'll just have to figure out what works best for us.
