If you go to the web site www.appdev.com there is a link to "free stuff". Under the free stuff link is a way to download a book that discusses multi tier development with VFP. I know cause I wrote it..........

Inside is a good discussion of creating components with VFP and consuming them with VFP, VB, and on the internet. Included are lessons on using ADO and MTS.
