A naive question ...

I want to attach to an Oracle 8.0 database on a Unix server from a Windows NT 4.0 client using VFP 6.0.

Does anybody know of any gottchas?? or have any recomondations??
For exapmle, is there a preferred ODBC driver( Microsoft or Oracle);
Can I use sqlexec??

Any advice is appreciated
