I don't have the table in my project. The table is a free table sitting on a different directory. I reference the table programmatically only when needed in the application.

>Did you include the table in your project? If so, VFP actually puts the dbf in your exe and makes it read only. To exclude it from your project, select it in the Project Manager and choose Exclude from the Project menu.
